Visit Darien, Georgia, to the Waterfront Gromet and Wine for a glass of wine or beer with a view. Stop and shop at Nautical Treasures of Broad and Marsh Hen. Dine at Mudcat Charlies or Skippers for some of the best seafood. There is also an antique shop and coffee shop on Broad.
St. Simons offers shopping and dining in the Pier District and Redfern Village. We recommend The Half Shell, Catch 228, or Iguanas (for families) on St. Simons for dinging.
Historic Brunswick off Gloucester and New Castle are well worth the effort. We suggest Daddy Cates Coffee on Saturday morning for coffee and breakfast. There is shopping along New Castle. Have lunch at Reid's Apothecary or Arte's Pizza. A fun place for a sweet treat is Vampire Penguin.
Kingsland offers lots, but we suggest you check out Historic St. Mary's for the shopping and waterfront. We love Riverside Cafe for lunch, but if you can find Bessie's On the Move food truck, you will be in for one of the best burgers ever!
